Two Feature Films.

Two Filmmakers.

One Tiny Film Festival.

Join us for the launch of Bay St. Louis’s first independent film festival on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 1-6:00pm, at the historic 100 Men Hall. We’re presenting two award-winning feature-length films: ONLY THE YOUNG (documentary)and COOKIE’S FORTUNE (narrative)plus a collection of shorts. Meet the filmmakers and join us for a ‘wrap party’ with a cash/credit bar. [The event is free /suggested donation $10.]

We believe that opportunities to watch great films and discuss how they’re made with people who have done the work is invaluable for a richer experience of the movies themselves and for inspiration for creating new work.

Ultimately conceived as a three-day event beginning in spring of 2025, the Bay St. Louis Film Festival will be a competitive celebration of documentary and narrative films, filmmaking and culture focused primarily on the American south.
